Kuehne + Nagel, a Tradeshift customer since 2012, has been named a HIGHLY COMMENDED WINNER of the Best Trade/Supply Chain Finance Solution Award in the 2017 Adam Smith Awards.
Treasury Today, a UK-based publisher of financial industry analysis and the producer of the award program, held a half-day gala yesterday at Plaisterers’ Hall in London. In attendance and pictured above from left to right is Boris Boeckem, Tradeshift Customer Success Director, Benedikt Zimmermann-Kuehne, Cash Manager, Kuehne + Nagel Management AG, and Melanie Girouard, Director, Global Transaction Services Client Manager at Citigroup.
Citbank and Tradeshift partnered nearly five years ago to deliver a supply chain finance solution, such as to Kuehne + Nagel.
In a press release, our client, Roger Sutter, Group Treasurer Kuehne + Nagel Management AG, said: ”Together with our e-invoicing partner Tradeshift and our key relationship bank Citi, we developed a fully integrated, one channel and seamless invoice-to-cash platform. It is complemented with an accelerated supplier payment feature in the form of a receivable purchase option.”
Markus Blanka-Graff, CFO Kuehne + Nagel International AG, added: “In collaboration with our key partners, Kuehne + Nagel’s solution is able to significantly improve the cash cycle of our suppliers, allow efficient invoice-to-cash processing through one platform and create working capital benefits for all participants.”
The Adam Smith Awards is celebrating its tenth anniversary and, according to the publisher, “is firmly established as the ultimate industry benchmark for exceptional achievement in corporate treasury.” We are proud that our customer stood out from among the 211 organizations from 30 countries that sent in nominations this year and that we are part of their success story.
Next month, Treasury Today will publish a case study detailing our supply chain finance project in the 2017 Adam Smith Awards Yearbook.
